As some of you may know, we have been shooting a documentary on the importance of cycling in the this region, Sonoma County in particular. This is a segment that we put together for Levi’s Gran Fondo. It is a spectacular sight to see 7,500 cyclists. As far as the eye can see! It was truly inspiring to be a part of such an amazing day. Last year the event raised over $175,000 for local charities like Forget Me Not Farm , local schools and Livestrong. Carlos & Greg from Bike Monkey Magazine put on an unbelievable event. I can only imagine the sleepless nights it took for the Bike Monkey team to orchestrate. It’s our understanding that they rely on over 1,000 volunteers to make it happen, and that’s just the beginning! To see the support from our local community members, pro cyclists and celebrities like Patrick Dempsey, Erika Christensen & Ethan Suplee all come together in one day for an amazing cause is inspiring to say the least! We all should ride more!
