Tamarancho Dirt Classic

Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze, Charlie Kelly… Marin County, California IS mountain biking!  But like an exceedingly rare ‘85 Richebourg Grand Cru (that’s a bottle of wine), or a virtually extinct New Caledonian Owlet-Nightjar (that’s a bird), Marin only has ONE mountain bike race.  Ridiculous.

Ridiculously awesome, you mean!  Dirt, rocks, blood, singletrack — Tamarancho is the kind of race that can make even Tom Ritchey grin.  It’ll put mud in your eye, hair on your chest, and grit in your teeth.  At least that’s what happened to us.  And we were there just to shoot the damn thing!
