From 30 Riders to a Full-Blown Forest Frenzy
Before Levi’s Gran Fondo, before the zombie promos, before the full media blitz… there was Boggs. Raise the Pines documents the 9th annual return of Bike Monkey’s OG race. The Boggs 8-Hour race. A grassroots event that started with just 30 people and grew into a defining ride of NorCal MTB culture. This highlight reel blends dirt, grit, and heart into a cinematic homage to the trails that started it all.
Raise the Pines – Culture Pop DNA
There’s something raw and sacred about returning to where it all began. In the forested heart of Northern California, Raise the Pines is more than a highlight reel, it’s a tribute to the roots of the movement. We embedded deep into the trails, shoulder-to-shoulder with the racers, anticipating lines before they hit them. It’s the art of being in the right place at the right time, covered in dust, dodging wheels, and chasing emotion. The shoot was pure grit, but the payoff? A time capsule of what makes the MTB community so damn special.
