Mementum- The Parody

The world of cycling films has no shortage of emaciated, neon-clad riders, bleeding out of their eyes as they pedal furiously shoulder to shoulder, through yet another gorgeous landscape.  Yeah, okay, we got it.

To flip the script this time, Culture Pop and Bike Monkey teamed up to tell a tale that delves into the chaotic, gear-churning mind of one obsessive rider.  Equal parts parody and homage, Mementum is the story of a man who may have lost his memory, his bike, and his Lycra, but who will never lose his driving purpose.

Levi Leipheimer (sporting an especially creepy mustache) stars alongside Bike Monkeys Carlos Perez and Greg Fisher in a short that bends time, space, and some crazy fast frame-rates.
